About the Doctor:
Dr. Amber Da Gama Rose, DPT has been a physical therapist since 2000 and has specialized in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy since 2018. Dr. Amber has always been passionate about helping others and giving them one-on-one care. She has realized the power of connecting with her patients, the importance of hands-on manual treatment and improving lives with exercise. Since becoming a pelvic health therapist, Dr. Amber has realized the lack of correct information available for individuals with pelvic floor dysfunction and pain. She wants to help educate her patients and the public that they do not need to suffer in silence. They can improve their overall quality of life with pelvic floor physical therapy.
Dr. Amber lives in Staunton, Illinois with her husband Mark and their 2 children Charlie and Henry. Outside of work, you can find Amber hiking with her family, reading, coaching/watching soccer and planning the next family vacation. |
How is Moxie Pelvic Health and Wellness Different?
Individualized Care
At Moxie Pelvic Health and Wellness, you will always be seen one on one by a pelvic health physical therapist; unlike other clinics that use assistants and aides to help with treatment. Our therapist has been trained to provide internal and external pelvic floor treatments to help with your issues. You will have one hour long sessions to allow us time to discuss and treat your concerns rather than 30 minute visits frequently seen elsewhere. |
Whole Body Approach and Collaboration
At Moxie Pelvic Health and Wellness, we will look and treat your body as a whole. We will discuss the symptoms that brought you in for physical therapy, not just the diagnosis you were given. We work not only to get you back to your prior level but beyond to help improve your overall health and quality of life. We understand that wellness and self care should be a priority and we will help you on this journey. |
Exclusively Pelvic Health Providers
At Moxie Pelvic Health and Wellness, we specialize in pelvic health conditions and care. We are unlike other clinics where pelvic floor therapy is an "add on" to the orthopedic focused services. Our therapist has been trained to evaluate and treat all genders and pediatric patients. Our physical therapist continues to strive to be educated in the most up to date care in pelvic floor therapy.
